Did you know the number of Suicides in teens are very high when it comes to Foster children?
Janet Chavez, Lake Conroe Christmas Boat Parade Founder and Rebecca Smith, Founder of Love Heals Youth, share a little about this lovely Organization chosen as a beneficiary of the gifts collected for 2023 so they can use to help and serve these children.
LIST OF ITEMS/GIFTS NEEDED
For the Welcome Home Bags:
These bags are created for foster youth when they are placed in a congregate care facility. The purpose is to give the kids a bag to pack their things in so they no longer have to travel in a trash bag.
Also, we want them to ditch the travel sized products. Having full sized products allows the kids to feel like they made it home rather than still on the go, moving around.

At 'Love Heals Youth', their amazing team of counselors is committed to helping youth in foster care. Love Heals Youth does not have any paid staff members and our counselors work with the clients at a discounted rate. All services are funded through Love Heals Youth at no cost to the recipient(s). Enrolling a foster youth is easy and we can schedule appointments within 48 hours.
