Your support and contributions will go a long way...
Help us impact one life at a time and bring back the love and light within us!
Falling slowly
Take all the time you need
To think, to breathe
Your soul is yours to keep
You are not your mistakes
You are not your fear or your pain
There’s no reason for shame
Please know you’re not to blame
Nothing ever gets easier
We just become stronger day by day
The past we leave behind doesn’t have to seal our fate
And I know it’s too dark to see now
But you’ll find the light of a new day
So please stay
You’re loved more than you know
You hurt because you’re real
Hold onto your heart and don’t let go
With time, your wounds will heal
You are not your mistakes
You are not your fear or your pain
There’s no reason for shame
Please know you’re not to blame
Nothing ever gets easier
We just become stronger day by day
The past we leave behind doesn’t have to seal our fate
And I know it’s too dark to see now
But you’ll find the light of a new day
So please stay
This familiar place will try to drag you under
No matter how hard it tries, you’re going to remember
That you and I are here for a reason
You and I can escape this place together
Nothing ever gets easier
We just become stronger day by day
The past we leave behind doesn’t have to seal our fate
And I know it’s too dark to see now
But you’ll find the light of a new day
So please stay
Please stay

STAY! YOU MATTER. YOU ARE SAFE. YOU ARE LOVED.
Suicide is a leading cause of death. It’s also preventable. In U.S. alone, we have the potential and ability to save nearly 45,000 lives every year.
Our Director and Founder of Lake Conroe Christmas Boat Parade, Janet Chavez, is leading a Suicide Prevention Campaign within our own Community and with the hopes of having this campaign and activities, reach millions around the globe. A new podcast and YouTube Channel is on the works and with this, we are looking to impact the lives of many with a holistic approach.
With your help, kindness, active participation and love, we will fund and support our New Podcast targeting teenagers and those needing a safe space to share and connect.
Your contribution goes a long way!
Help us to bring hope and brighten up the hearts of our world!
In Behalf of our Lake Conroe Community and beyond,
THANK YOU for your support!
I AM NOT ALONE. I HAVE A FRIEND IN YOU!
- EVENTS -
A few times a year, Janet and a team of selected individuals and professionals, will gather our teen Community to participate in events to awaken empathy, love and presence
(Free event but Registration will be required).
Through fun activities, fun coaches and laughter, we will engage in experiences that will bring joy to our hearts while enjoying the beauty of nature, Lake Conroe and surrounding areas.
Let's learn how nature and its beauty can speak right into our Soul.
It is time for our Children to connect outside of Social Media and learn to brighten up their hearts while connecting to each other.
Life is made out of unique moments. Let's help them express in a setting where they feel safe, honored, loved and understood. They have so much to share and they are not alone.
One life at a time!
YOU MATTER. YOU ARE SAFE. YOU ARE LOVED.

In 2018, after Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain died by suicide, Deanna Zandt felt compelled to address the words of encouragement others were offering those in the midst of a mental struggle. That piece is titled “Why ‘you are loved’ & ‘please reach out’ are crappy things to post after someone has died by suicide” and it explores the way in which our words and actions can help or hurt someone struggling. In today’s episode, we’re honored to be joined by Deanna to explore her perspective and thoughts on how we can genuinely support and show up for someone who’s thinking about suicide.
